2.5 timing chain/tensioner

I've got the famous tensioner chatter noise going on. I'm replacing the tensioner but my question is should I replace the whole timing chain assembly (chain, sprocket etc) or should I just replace the tensioner alone. Motor has 123k on it. Other then that she has no problems runs and drives great.

At that mileage, there is not an overwhelming "right" answer to your question. You might want to measure the slack in the chain to get a better idea of it's condition.

For the price of the chain. I would just replace it.
