2000 coolant leak!? common places

i replaced my radiator last summer and checked my overflow bottle for a leak its not them i was thinking either the thermostat housing gasket, water pump or hoses. any input would be great.

on my 97 4.0 the weap hole was leaking it runs right down the lower hose so you thing it's a hose clap but i replaced the pump this just happened just some imput

My thermostat housing leaked a couple years ago. If you replace it, make sure not to over-tighten or you will crack it in half. Also check hoses. The hose on the top of my radiator leaked because the clamp weakened.

Your water pump has a weep hole on its lower backside. Its an indicator that it needs to be replaced.

thanks scavanau. that was my problem found it yesterday ripped everything out and replaced my water pump.
