2000 Jeep Wrangler problem!

Have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport V6 4.0 and my check engine light just came on. It starts to sputter when I cruise at about 50mph. When I get on the gas it goes away. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

Try turning the key on (to run) and off three times in rapid succession. You should get a code on your dash, either blinking or itll give you the code. Dont remember where the code list is at, maybe someone else will chime in.

Your engine has morphed. If it is a V6, some of your cylinders have moved out of line.

Probably O2 sensor or something like that, check the codes and get back with us.
