2000 Sahara Tail Light Guard Installation

I want to install Rugged Ridge Rear Euro Tail Light Guards, I already have one up with rust so I decided to get the new one. Anyways I remove the light cover no problem but I can't seems to remove 3 nuts inside the light housing to remove complete light assembly I tried few sockets but still no luck does anyone have any recommendation as what tool to use?

If I remember right they're metric. They should loosen right up unless they're rusted

Are those bolts just drilled into the tub or are there nuts behind the corner?

Just put mine on a few weeks ago, just bolts no nuts on the backside IIRC.

The bolt is an 8mm just be sure that when u reinstall them use some electrical grease in the plugs as you have to take the waterproof insulation form the outside of the conector, also be sure that they are tight or you might experience a grounding problem as I did, my lights were funky till I figured it out.

When installing the Euro Guards, mounting them with some decent stainless bolts and nuts can be a good idea.

Bolt which came with the installation package are little loose when I tried many times but still not be able to install it correctly. Any thoughts?
