Hey Gang,

Looking at a TJ w/6cyl and manual 5speed....it 'may' need a clutch soon...

Is it any more pricey/hard/PITA than any other manual clutch?

What life span have you all been getting?

Anything I should look out for when I go look at this one?

basic leaks around the engine block and around the crank pulley and tranny, any visible pulley wobble = inditates worn keyway and shaft and may/will require replacement in shaft (who cares? Think of bad crankshaft or new engine) , in test drive i would try to hear if it makes clinking noises when braking and turning and/or feel if the steering wheel pops or knocks..

as clutch goes it depends on your driving.. you may burn it in a month or it may last few years

Good luck
