2000 wrangler noise in steering.

I have a popping noise crom the front end when turning the steering wheel to the left only. It happens only once when turning. No noise when turned right. Sounded like noise was coming from the steering box so I changed it out with no luck. Any ideas?

I've had the tires off and inspected everything. Everything at thr wheels looks Ok. The noise seems to be coming from the steering arms or knuckle joints.

You got me on this one bud... If you can't figure it out on your own, even with the help of others on this forum(which will come with time) then the next step is taking it to the garage when all other options have been exhausted. Wish I could help more but someone else will I sure be able to shine abit more info for ya... Good luck bud!

Have someone else turn your steering wheel back and forth some while you watch and feel your steering and suspension components. Pay particular attention to tie rod and track bar ends, as well as control arm bushings. If all is well there, could also be axle u-joints.

I had a popping cracking noise when I turned the wheel full turn left or right. Ended up doing two things at the same time and fixed the issue. Unfortunately I am not sure which fix it was because I didn't test it out until both were done. Tightened my track bar and my passenger lower control arm was a little bent up from landing on a pebble, so we heated it up and made it as much back to normal as we could.
