2001 master clutch cylinder replacement

just replaced master cylinder on clutch blew bottom off old one. problem is wont start now, cant figure it out almost like ????? I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!

There's a switch near the clutch that prevents the jeep from starting unless the clutch is depressed. I suspect you may have done something that affected this switch. Check first that the switch connector did not become disconnected during your master cylinder replacement.

BTW I thought that the clutch master cylinder and slave were a sealed unit. In that you could not replace just one.

Oh well, you learn something every day.
