I have a 2002 Sahara and I am getting evap codes for evap large leak and evap small leak I noticed that one of the rubber hose lines is cracked at the evap canister (The rubber hose line that is in the middle of the canister) would this be causing the check engine light codes?
Might be able to remove it and from the plastic line and just go to an auto store for check their helps parts section or have them cut a piece of vacuum hose from their bulk hose.
That is a Fairly large hose (looks like 5/8" or so i.d.) If not available Through Jeep You May match it up with a Piece of Formed Heater Hose from a Parts store Don't bother trying to use straight hose it will kink & cause other codes to set.
New replacement part arrived yesterday it came with 2 lines... Changed it out and drove around town the check engine light never came back on... Total cost for replacement part was $52.00 from dealership.
