2002 wrangler p0551

Aloha! New to jeep ownership and new to this kind of online greatness. I own a 2002 4cyl automatic se. I just purchased the vehicle a month ago and two codes have popped up. One for p0551 and one for p0320. 0320 is for crankshaft position sensor, so I will replace that tomorrow. P0551 is for power steering sensor? What's the deal with this? I cannot find the part anywhere for my year and model! Anyone have any helpful thoughts?

It is only used on the 4 cyl models. Go to this link & pick your yr then the steering section on about page 35. There is an explanation & a picture.

See online read only FSMs here:
Jeep Knowledge Base
You may have to go to the bottom of the page & pick Jeep Resources & online manuals if it directs you to home page rather than the knowledge base.

Thank you! Changed and everything seems great! Do I need to reset my computer?

It should reset itself but to be sure you can disconnect the battery for 2-3 minutes.

Another way to resetting the computer is to remove positive and negative cables and hold the two cables together for 30 seconds. Got that from Quadratec. It worked on my 1997.
