I'm not trying to derail the thread. I cut and weld metal, so all I'm saying is that the cuts and welds weren't as neat as I could do. The design actually took away from stock abilities by extending too far forward (bumper) and the attachment points left the equipment more vulnerable than stock (rock sliders).

The deal here is that I got it for free, I assessed it from an unattached position, I sold it. I have no purchase to justify and no position to defend.
For some, it is easier to kill the light inside of themselves than it is to fight the darkness all around them.

I too am new to all this. Just bought an '06 Unlimited Rubicon, bone stock with 55k on it for $16,500 from a Jeep dealership. One owner, accident free. Like others have said, just keep looking. I spent a lot of time on cars.com looking all over the country. Good luck!

Thanks for all of the input guys. I will probably pass this one up. Someone said I should just buy a stock and build my own, which i'll probably do

Oh god, the OP jeep is like a 8k jeep that owners trying to get 10k extra for the upgrades. Pass. Perhaps if it was some kick ars one off custom it would be worth that much but not for off the shelf bolt on stuff.

Another data point ... bought my 2006 TJ Rubicon on CL from original owner in completely stock condition with 32,000 miles for $16.5k in 2012. Never offroad. Her asking price was what the dealer she bought it from had offered her in trade-in.
