2005 TJ Rear Wiper Button Missing

Whats up everyone... So here is my slight problem... I just bought a 2005 Wrangler X, and do not seem to be able to find the rear wiper button to use the wiper and the window washer fluid. Call me stupid or a newb, but I cannot find it. I thought it was supposed to be next to the O/D off switch, but it is not there and does not seem to be anywhere else. If anyone can enlighten me and tell me where it might be would be great. Thanks guys

Vic

Is the wiper washer hooked up to your hard top? The switch should be on the bottom under the heater controls.

It is next to the OD off button. At least on my 04 auto that came from the factory with a hard top.

From left to right...Rear defrost, rear wiper, OD off, blank.

Rig was probably originally equipped with a soft top thus the requisite buttons to control your wiper was not installed by the factory.

Like the above said the vehicle was a softop model and the previous owner added the top. You can purchase the mopar kit to connect the wiper and defrost

This makes sense now. Nice to have a hard top, but tough when it is raining out there and have the rear windshield full of water and unable to clean it. Will most likely buy the kit and get someone to put it in. Thanks for all of your help guys.

You can install the kit yourself. I did in my 03.
