2005 with lighting problems ,,help ???

I have a 2005 that was seriously abused before I got it . It had been left in the woods for many months , turned over , rolled , and soaked with water .
I finally got it fixed and almost ready for the road , but the lights are giving me a real headache . the park lights work , until you turn the headlights on . Then only the headlights will burn . The brakelights won't work , except the 3rd eye over the spare tire . signals seem to work just fine . I've checked all thee fuses , and the relays that were listed . Checked for naked wires , made sure all grounds were conected .. But still nothing . Anybody got an idea .

First thing I would do on the brake lights is check for voltage on the brake light input and output wires at the turnsignal switch. You will have to step on the brakes to see voltage there. Do your headlights burn bright or could it be a low voltage situation where the head lamps are robbing all the power? How's the battery?
