2006 Wrangler SE no rear sway bar?

Just put on my lift with quick disco's in the front and went to install the extended rear sway bar links and NO SWAY BAR!?! I know what it looks like and I'm telling you there not there not even a place for them. Rides fine just thought that was weird.

You sure it's not infront of the rear axle? I've thought numerous times to take mine off but everyone tells me as a daily driver it's a bad idea. Should be some brackets on the front of the rear axle.

nothing. I've looked. I was thinking like in the front they'd have to be disconnected to do the lift. But I never had to.

I put the RC 3.25" on. I looked and looked and didn't see anything. Maybe it's just the SE version?

I ran my Xj for most of the years ai had it with no rear sway bar, but that was a leaf spring pack. Not sure if that would matter or not. It rode fine. No sway bars in the front is another story.

I ran my old YJ which was my Daily Driver with no rear sway bar but that is like doclouie said w/ leaf springs. I know many guys do that on YJ's but don't think that is a good idea on the TJ with just coils. I am surprised that your axle isn't moving all over the place w/out the sway bar in the rear.

Some of the very stripped down SEs that were lighter in weight did not come with a rear antiswaybar from the factory. It's a very good idea to find one out of a junkyard and mount one though.
