I'm stumped ,my buddy bought a used and abused 2004 Rubicon,he told me it always bucks going around corners.Got the jeep to the house and the lever is in 2wd position but all 4 tires are still engaged, did the whole back up thing nothing changed,so I pulled shifter linkage ,worked the arm on t-case and it seems that the detents and movement indicate that the shifter is working properly.i can move in all positions but 4hi will still not disengage even with linkage on t-case in 2wd position. Not sure if the shift collar is broken or what but if I don't get some advice I'll be splitting this case this weekend.
