3" RCD Coil Spring Lift

So I just got the Jeep back from the shop here on base, they put new shocks and the RCD 3" springs on for me. I was running a 2" BB with a 1" BL before. I told them to toss the 2" spacers in the back when they were done. So I get there and the Jeep is looking pretty tall. I gave it the once over and notice that the 2" spacers are still on it.

Am I wrong when I say that now it has 5" of suspension lift? I am pretty sure that is too much lift for it to have with stock control arms, no transfer case drop, no SYE... They drove it and said it handled fine, there seems to be pretty of slack in the brake lines for daily driving. I am not so sure how they would handle being flexed out offroad.

Is this safe to drive as is, would you drive it daily? They told me to bring it back in on Wednesday and they will remove the 2" spacers for me.

Any comments, suggestions or advice from the masses would be greatly appreciated.

I just noticed that the rear axle is now shifted to the right as you are looking at it from behind. Surely that can't be good, the spacers are totally coming off ASAP!!!

Do you have a relocation bracket on the back for the track bar?? If not I would look in to that. Or if you've got the money just get an adjustable track bar. That will fix your axle shift.

I was just looking at the adjustable track bar, I think I will go that route for the front and rear. Do you think driving it as is will cause any issues? Looking at taking the 2" spacers out on Wednesday and I was just curious if I should not be driving it between now and then?

Well if it is too high for the rear pinion angle (drive shaft angle) it may be hard on the u-joints... Just make sure it isn't giving vibrations and you should be ok for now.

Thanks for the tip, if I do drive it to work it's 35 miles one way. I didn't want to be "that guy" that breaks down in rush hour traffic and causes hate and discontent for everyone else.

You need to remove the spacers. The two more inches will probably cause the shocks to top out. Also your brake line will be at their limit.
