4.0l stalling idleing low

well my 98 wrangler runs fine most of the time. thenm out of no where it starts acting up. i cant figure,out what it going on. i replaced the coil, plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. i just cant figure out what is going on. it doesnt act up on the highway. but when im driving it want to stall. and lastnigh when i pushed the cltuch in and tried revving it up it doding even want to like run. i need to get this problem fixed soon because its the only thing i go to drive. im starting to think it is the fuel pump. i chacked the pressure at idle. it was at 49 psi. what is it suppost to be at. and what about on a load. were can i find it at on the web? thanks for the help

Were you able to diagnose the problem, my 05' started stalling when decellerating after it has ran for awhile?

To add to Distortedtj's comments, the IAC is what provides all of the engine's air when the engine is at idle. If it gets dirty, the engine can have an eratic idle. Get some aerosol throttle body cleaner and with the engine running, use the cleaner to clean the interior of the throttle body and concentrate much of the spray at the Idle Air Control Passage Inlet as shown above.

If that doesn't cure the bad idle, remove the two screws that hold the IAC to the throttle body, remove it, then carefully/gently clean its solenoid actuated plunger (don't push/pull/turn it) and the hole it fits into (the backside of the passage inlet).

I have replaced the throttle positioning sensor and cleaned the IAC. It idled very rough to start with, was a coincidense that my air temperature sensor went out when everything got hooked back up. I replaced it and my jeep is now running better than ever. Thanks for the help.
