4 in lift and bump stop

Do i use the stock bump stop when installing a 4 in lift? i had a 2 in BB and had to extend it but i can always take out the spacer and put in a shorter bolt.

You bump stop for the size tire you are running. Not for the amount of lift you run. You should flex out your suspension and see what it needs. You want to install enough bump stop to keep your tires out of the fender. Also to keep your shocks from over compressing, and to keep the springs from going to block.
