Check that the 4x4 light switch connector is securely fastened to the 4x4 switch's plug which is located top of the transfer case. You'll find it on top, on the passenger side of your transfer case.

Well its not the plug located on top of the T-Case. I checked it and it is fastened. Also it isnt the dash light because I got it to light up by running the dash through the test thingy were you hold the odometer button as you turn the key and it tests all the lights. It lit up??

hmmmm

If you know how to use an ohmmeter or continuity tester, see if the switch in the t-case is working when you shift between 2wd and 4Hi. If it does, ground the wire that leads to the switch and see if the 4x4 light illuminates.

If all that fails, it's not hard to know when you're in 4x4.
