4WD Indicator

03 TJ Sport, Auto.

Prior to 1" BL, MML 4WD Indicator on dash WORKED but shifting in/out of 4wd was difficult.

Installed 1"BL + 1" MML, did NOT use relocator bracket, Adjusted the linkage, Now 4WD Engages properly and is Easy to shift In/Out.........but 4WD Indicator no longer lights up.

What activates the light and where is it?

The light is controlled by the switch located on top of the transfer case on the driver's side where the 4wd light harness plugs into it.

When you have a choice, buy American.

Well, nothing seems amiss there, it's snug and still wrapped in some foam, no way it got pulled/damaged during my BL MML install......

Any thought on what exactly goes wrong with it?

Un plug and clean the connections. Maybe it's just out of adjustment enoughf to cause it not to flip the switch and still be in 4wd.

I just thought there wasn't an indicator light....back under the Jeep with me as well.

Rotting piece of junk with some bling in the rear axle.
