4WD Indicator not coming on...?

2000, 4 cylinder, 5 speed. Lamp is not lighting. I want to start with the switch. Where is it located?
Also, if it ends up being the lamp, how easy is the lamp to get to? What, and how, do I take it apart?

Thanks......

From what I have heard it's the switch, mine stopped a long time ago and who really needs it.

Consider it a blessing. What do you need it for?

The electrical connector for the 4x4 switch is located on the top of the transfer case on the passenger side. Perhaps someone forgot to plug the connector back in.
