4x4 disengaging?

So I went mudding this past weekend and I had a few problems if anyone could clear things up its appreciated.

1st - my 4 high didn't want to engage only my rear tires spun.

2nd - my 4wd light in my dash doesn't turn on no biggy but still.

3rd - after running it in 4lo in mud it disengaged and started grinding and I had to force the lever up with one hand while I tried to give it gas which worked.

4th - a bit of water comes through the floor wells for the rear passengers.

Any suggestions on these problems?

when you put on body lift the linkage needs to be longer and readjusted.
