5spd tranny not shifting into gear ?

Ok i wanted to repost this again but i'm still having trouble with My jeep not wanting to shift into gear. Its a 5spd the ax5 clutch seems to be working fine and the slav cylinder is working as well its got plenty of fluid to. The weird thing is When it gets cold outside cold cold it WILL NOT GO INTO GEAR..... But it will get warm out and for some unexplained reason work ? ANy ideas on what it may be maybe i overlooked something ? Ay one who has any thoughts let me know.

Thats normal as far as i know. It has very hard time going into 2nd gear. The rest are drivable.

Double clutching in the mourning works for me until it warms up.

Its not normal. Have you replaced the fluid int yet? Perhaps synthetic would help. Also the nylon ball at the base of the shifter could be worn, have you looked at it?

The jeep will not shift into gear when it warms up no. It either does or it doesn't thinkin maybe changing the fluid in it since i havent yet and putting..... Royal Purple Synchromax .... in it it synthetic gear lube for colder climate so hopefully it will do the trick i'm going to check the fluid color and make sure anything inside isn't wearing down by letting the gear lube run through my hands checking for any particles then if thats the case i know its internal. I haven't checked the nylon ball yet how do i do that ?

I always have to shift my trans into reverse or second before it'll take it into first. I sometimes have the same problem going into reverse. All else shifts fine. Someone once told me a fluid change would help cuz the synchros were sticking, but after a fluid change I still have that prob...nature of the beast I guess.

I cant see how a diferant kind of lube is going to enable you to shift it in gear. I would take up the shifter and inspect the ball it might be worn or have some build up on it. If you have a lot of miles on it might be worn. Its easy to check and worth looking at before you change the fluid.

I am just now getting to 100k miles on it. So just take the shifter assembly and everything around it and i'll be able to inspect the ball then ? i'll have to look into it when it isn't below freezing out when i get a warmer day outside. Thought about taking it to the dealership but they want to charge me for looking at it which is bs.
