5th Gear

I have a 98 Sahara and it will hit about 75 to 80 on the highway in 4th gear at about 2500 rpm's. But as soon as I shift to 5th it drops to 60/65 mph at around 1800 rpm's. Any advice on what could be wrong?

They are 33" tires. If it is the gear ratio any tips on what would be a good price range?

The common price for gears installed/front and rear is from $1k-1300.00 Lots of us just learn to deal with it...

If you have a '98 Sahara lifted with 33's thats pretty much average, I can get it up to 75 but I've modded mine with a header/high flow exhaust and CAI.

That RPM range is perfect for coasting and gas mileage... until you need to pass someone, how is 4th for that?
