6spd manual reverse issues

I have had a hard time getting my jeep to go into reverse since I had it. Sometime it will pop out once I get it in. Now that I put my Bl on its even worse. I have figured out its the boot but I can't find a solution yet. I'm guessing I'm not the first one that has had this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I trimmed a little off the plastic part that goes around the boot and that seemed to fix it.

Have you checked, or changed your tranny fluid?

I just pulled the shift lever out, heated it and bent it a little so it would clear the console. Works great, but I had to bend it again when I did the tummy tuck because then it hit the dash.

I'm having a similar problem. I changed my trans fluid which helped the clunky shifting into second and third, but I still have a hard time getting into first or reverse when the Jeeps been sitting all night in below freezing temps. I'm not sure what's causing my issue, but do tell if you find a fix for yours.
