8.8 question

long story short i broke the spiders in my rear twice, welded everything up,broke both axles after that and cracked the carrier, now im up grading to an 8.8.

kicking round ideas and does any body know if the 8.8 will hold up to a stroked 4.0 bored .30 over and 17x40 ground hawgs?

Better than your 35 will. Might take a few days to destroy the inside of the diff.

Grab yourself at least a D60 but a 14 bolt seems like it would be best. Or an AMC 20, those are amazing!

If you leave it open then yes it will live. Even if you tighten up the LS carrier it will live. But something tells me you like the skinny petal way too much so skip the 8.8 and go 14 bolt.
