So i am pretty good mechanic. Today i was taking my daughter to the gun store and when i rolled down the drive way and then stopped to put into first, i could not get the shifter into first or any other gear. I turned off the engine restarted, and still nothing. Finally, after playing with it i got into gear. for a short while the clutch kept acting up. Any ideas? shifter syncros, shifter bushing, etc? help....:surrender:
i was thinking that but the weird part was with clutch in or out, it couldn't be forced into any gear. i am wondering if the cold is causing the tranny syncros to not engage.
failed to mention that i tried it when the jeep was turned off as well as on.
