97 5 speed tranny acting up...?

So i am pretty good mechanic. Today i was taking my daughter to the gun store and when i rolled down the drive way and then stopped to put into first, i could not get the shifter into first or any other gear. I turned off the engine restarted, and still nothing. Finally, after playing with it i got into gear. for a short while the clutch kept acting up. Any ideas? shifter syncros, shifter bushing, etc? help....

If you couldn't get it in any gear and the clutch was acting up, my vote would be slave cylinder issues

i was thinking that but the weird part was with clutch in or out, it couldn't be forced into any gear. i am wondering if the cold is causing the tranny syncros to not engage.
