97 check enging light

I have a friend with a 97 Saraha package. Yesterday while playing in Cleghorn, his check engine light came on. He found the code that stated that the MAS sensor was not working properly. If he pulls the battery cable, will that reset the computer or does he need to get the tool to do so. Thank you in advance for your replies.

Jeff

Yes, he can disconnect the battery cable and it will reset it. Have done it to my 97 a couple of times now.
