97 TJ front suspension question

I have had the Jeep now for about 3 weeks. Owner said it had a 2" lift. My question is, I measured between the bump stop coming down from the frame and the axle inside the front springs and it shows 1 3/4". I see what looks like a spacer added, possibly it came with the kit?? This doesnt seem like enough of a space except for maybe all onroad running. If it is a spacer, should I try to remove it? Thanks as usual!

A picture would be helpful on this one. The spacer for a 2" lift should go on top of the coil spring. How long are the bump stops from the metal cup they sit in to their tip?

2" rubber collar is above the spring and the rubber nubber, not to be confused with my nubber is also 2". Hopefully the pic is below.

It looks as if there was at least a 4" lift installed on the jeep at one point and they did not remove the bump stop extension from the top when the lift was removed. The top bump stop extension is about the same length as mine and I have a 4" lift, just my opinion.

Does the jeep ride rough on bumps? Doesn't seem like there is much room between the stops.

The shocks are not tall enough for a 4'' lift most 2 in are body spacers how about a shot of the back where the body mounts by the bumper

Im not saying the 4" lift is in there now, thats obvious, what I'm saying is the length of the upper bump stop extension is correct for a 4" suspension lift and it shouldn't be in there.

That bumper on the bottom doesn't appear to be stock either. I don't think it's necessary??? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

So after this storm were having, what do you guys think so go, the top rubber, the top rubber and cup, or the bottom rubber? As far as riding rough goes, onroad is fine, but as you can see the contact point between the rubbers on the bottom one looks like its been hit frequently. Cant get any pics till the storm moves out. Thanks all.

I have some help coming tomorrow, can anyone tell by the pics what should or should not be there? I was thinking of taking off the lower rubber. Only because I am not sure how the upper rubber and cup are attached. jeepjones, wild1??

So it appears you have nothing coming up from the rear perch. I dont see anything in between 2 wraps of your coil spring, and I only have space on mine of approx 1 wrap of the coil spring. So remove the bottom rubber, ya think? Is that rusty cup on the top rubber a spacer too do you know? Wondering if that also should come out and just lv the top rubber. Thanks all!

Wild1, do you have a pic of the top section of your spring and rubber mount? So I can compare my extended rubber (or spacer) up top? jjones seems to think its still a 4" ext still on there.
