98 jeep stalling during start up

Hey all... Some mornings I go to start my 98 wrangler and it turns over but as soon as I take my foot off gas it dies... Took me about 4 tries this morning to get it to start idling at normal rpms... I think it could be throttle box... Any ideas?

I'm currently having this problem with my '99 4.0L. What was it that was causing the problem?

Have your cat checked at a good muffler shop. Maybe you have clogged exhaust system caused by a damaged or broken cat. You could be burning off the exhaust back up , or pushing it out after awhile. It's dangerous though because it could cause a backfire.
