98 Jeep Wrangler Sport - Ignition Problem

Hey Guys,
First post. I have a 98 Jeep Wrangler Sport, 6 Cylinder. I tried to start it yesterday and it would not turn over...lights and radio worked. I finally started it by jumping the starter by putting a screwdriver to it. I am thinking it is an ignition switch...has anybody came across this before and what did you do?
