98 steering gearbox

I have had a leak in my steering gearbox and have been going through power steering fluid like crazy i went to take my gearbox out and couldnt get the nut o the bottom of the pittman arm off... I tried everything but torching it off
So short of torching it does anybody have any experience getting it off or any ideas and if i have to torch it where would be the best place to get a new nut because my local oriellys doesnt sell them

Instead of just torching it... Give it some heat. Not quite to the point of glowing but nice and hot and with the proper size socket and a breaker bar it should come off and then you will need a nice heavy duty pitman arm puller to get off the pitman arm

Do what Slater said. I had to replace mine year and though a PAI it did come off with heat and a good breaker bar.

I don't know how bad the leak is, but I had a leaky steering box on my truck a couple of years ago, and my mechanic told me to keep topping it off with Lucas oil, (a new steering box being a rather expensive repair), and it worked. hasn't leaked since, and its been 3 yrs.
