98 tj missing 2.5l

I've rebuilt the motor, had head shaved, crank sensor, 02 sensors, fixed exhaust, rotor cap and button, plugs , wires, timing chain, piston rings and still missing. Im gonna change the distributer base next I see that the cam/pickup coil sensor is built in. The computer code says loss of cam or crank. Any ideas? Im at wits end.

Grab the wiring harness where the crank sensor connects (back of motor on drivers side) and give it a shake. If it dies then it's either the sensor or where it ties into the harness. Not difficult to damage while wrestling with the header.
