A/c heater control

Help... Driving me crazy. When I use my heater or a/c the air blows out anywhere it wants. Floor, vent defrost. It moved as I throttle up or down. Where do I start?

Here is a vacuum schematic. Check all this. Especially where it goes to the box on the passenger side #8 and number 2 on the drivers side as well as hose number 4 (that was my problem). You will find a leak somewhere. Easy cheap fix.

Lay under the Jeep behind the right front tire, look up along the frame for a single line connecting to the vacuum canister. (Number 8 above) make sure it is not cracked at all, if it is you can either replace it with a small piece of vacuum line, cut it back behind the cracks if there is enough, or wrap it in tape for now

Thanks guys. Number 8 was split and fell right off when I touched it. Replaced it and it works great.
