A/C intake filter?

Hello everybody i first would like to say I'm new to this and I really enjoy reading all the useful and helpful threads. I have a 2005 TJ and I tried searching for this but I had no luck. My question is about the a/c intake. I've been having a problem with a/c noise. When I turn the blower past speed 2 the compressor?? under the passenger dash it is noticeably louder and is making a very mild but constant clicking sound as well. Can somebody provide some insight to me as the best way to clean the a/c intake, from what I can tell it is located at the base of the front windshield?? Also has anyone had a similar problem with there a/c?? It still blows cold and hard so in the end I guess I'm lucky there.

Sounds like you have some kind of trash in your blower fan. Pull it out and clean out whatever is in there.
