Cool a/c protection

I had my used Jeep 3 weeks and the a/c went out. (I know, it's a Jeep, and you will ask why I have a/c). Wound up my condenser was leaking and had to be replaced. I asked the mech why that would happen and he said probably a rock or somthing hit it. Now, how do I protect the new one from getting hit by a rock or anything else? There's gotta be some sort of protection available. What about screen wire? I should be getting it back today and I sure want to protect what I call my wasted money.

Thanks EJ. I have been looking in the J.C.Whitney catalogue at their choices. They sure have a hefty price on the grill inserts but I suppose it is cheaper than an a/c condenser. One problem I have is that when I look in that catalogue, my eyes get big and my wants start to swell. I could drop a couple of $k$ in a hurry there. It's like going to the Sears tool department.

The PO of my jeep put one of the steel grille mesh things behind the grille (its in quadratec for ~300.00). I left it to stop small animals from being eaten by my jeep. so far its worked.
