A few problems on my 99 2.5l

I got the jeep for christmas as a hand-me-down. I took it in to get a check up and got the list of stuff that needed to be fixed. I have started but a few other problems have cropped up in place of the ones I have fixed.

I replaced the old stock exhaust manifold (five individual chunks held together by the heat shield) and I went from getting 15-16 MPG around town to about 10-12 MPG. Is this due to the rest of the exhaust being restrictive? I realize that it was probably not being used before the fix.

Also, I have had the oil pressure creep up on me to the point that when it is cold it will idle with 80psi of oil press. when this first started occurring it was about time to change the oil so i went ahead and changed it, it started to get better but after 1k miles it is getting worse again. Ideas?

I have quite a few other repairs to do (when i get the money) but these are priority atm.

It's possible that the exhaust is plugged up?
The oil pressure is probably just a bad oil pressure sender. (Passenger side forward of the oil filter, above motor mount)

I have a 99 2.5 with 31's on it and get between 17-19

You might need new O2 Sensors in the exhaust.
