A new problem!

I work around a construction site.Today,as every day,I went to work.Doorless, all curtains removed, only the top part up(safari-style),because it is like 97 in the shade.Left work, and when I got home,I noticed there were at least 2 million ants in my rear seat!Holy Hell!I went nuts with a can of Raid, and hopefully annihilated them!WTF!Anyone else ever had this problem?

is or was there anything of the food nature in the back seat? Last time I had ants in a vehicle it was a 77 Monty that had a Mc Donald's burger under the seat.
Keep an eye out though, there may be more lurking around under neath between the tank and shield and in the frame just waiting for food. Keep the Raid handy bro, and good luck

i had a somewhat similar thing happen to me. a buddy of mine thought it would be funny to dump a big bag of skittles down one of my work boots and leave me a gift. little did he know that i bought a new pair of boots and those ones sat in the car for 3 weeks while i was working offshore in the gulf of mexico. that lot where i parked my car was pretty much surrounded by swamp in the heart of the LA coast. so i get back and im driving to the hotel and after the tenth ant bite pull over and figure out what hell is going on. i had so many ants in there. it sucked really bad but the worst part was that the car wasnt mine, i borrowed it from my grandpa. i had a raid can for every passenger. the only way i got rid of them was when i headed back to washington. those little red bastards didnt like the 50* weather.

Food was definately not the issue.Eating in my Jeep is verboten!Although I do sometimes carry my lunch in a cooler back there, this was not the case this time!Strange!Although the possibilty does exist that someone could have thrown something back there as a prank,I never saw any evidence of it.Went to the quarter carwash and vacuumed out at least a million dead ants today!

I had that happen in a previous car, and it was because I parked it under a tree at my sisters house. I killed what seemed like 1 million ants with a can of raid and the next time I was at my sisters, I found out that her husband had had the same problem when he parked his truck under the tree.

Definately glad it wasn't bees!Trees are out of the question, because I got tired of pine needles-I was in the great wide open, with nothing overhead!
