accelerator cable adjustment

Hello all,
There is some slack in my accelerator cable so my pedal is halfway down from the brake pedal and the metal in the back.. how do i adjust the cable slack?

there are no adjustments that i know of. what counts is, make sure when you have the pedal all the way down the Throttle body blades are wide open. If they are not you can use zipties around the cable to take up the slack.

I gues ill have to go plan B then make something of that kind as you can see on the pic it has a nut on each side and its something like a bike brake adjustment

Accelerator cable slack

My accelerator pedal is about halfway down in idle position. This makes it impossible to heel-and-toe on the change downs. Is there an easy fix to this?
