Adjustable track bar and control arms

I installed my RE 3.5" SF lift today. Much to my surprise the prior owner had installed an adjustable rear track bar. I thought we got it adjusted pretty close but we were way off. I need to push my axle back to the passenger side at least 1-1/2" to 2". So do I want to shorten up my bar or make it longer? I am obviously confused on what direction does what. Any guesses how far I want to adjust it to get that much movement?

I also installed adjustable lower control arms with the lift. Based on posts I had read I added about 1/2" in length from stock. How can I tell if I have these adjusted correctly?

the trackbar mounts to the axle on the drivers side, and the frame on the passengers side,so you need to make it shorter to pull the axle towards the pass side.1/2 inch on the control arms sounds a bit long,I think I set mine 1/4-3/8 longer.Could be mine are too short too LOL!

Ok. Thanks for the help on the track bar. That makes sense if I think of it like that. I must have got lucky because I think I got the front one adjusted pretty good. Too bad it will be such a pain to adjust that rear track bar.

The control arms just are a little cloudy to me and they wont be the easiest to adjust either.

When installing them you should have laid each arm next to each other and measured center of the bolt hole to center of the bolt hole. Then adjusted out the new arms to be 1/2" (if that's what the instructions said) longer. I don't have adj lowers, just uppers and had to length my uppers about 3/8".

I think your lowers should be fine if they are the same length as stock, and really don't need to be adjusted unless you get adjustable uppers.
