Air Bag Light

Hey guys my air bag light was flickering on and off for a while and now it's just one.

I know it's not the clock spring since it was replaced a few weeks ago when the horn wasn't working.

Any ideas.

Sounds like a bad connection. If someone was messing with your steering wheel odds are they messed up the connector.

sounds like your connection for the dash panel.try to hit your dash above gauges and see if it goes off.if it does you need to clean the pins for gauge panel and bend the prongs very slightly.also use the grease for elec. connections

BTW DO NOT hit the air bag directly. Strong shock on the air bag might deploy it.

Do you have the pass side airbag cutoff switch in the console. If so disconnect the battery and check the connection there to start. Then get an accurate wiring schematic and trace the lines and checking the wires, connections, and sensors as you go.

Always disconnect the battery when dealing with this circuit. You don't what to be near the bag if it accidentally deploys (sounds like a 12 gauge and costs a ton to replace).
