air cond use?

i am replaceing the heater core on my Jeep, what a frickin Pain!! anyways, I am about half tempted to not regas the air conditioner. last year I used it I think 2 times to cool and maybe a half doz times to defog the windows. it worked preaty good but being an o1 and been disconnected it will need the gas, oil and maybe the dryer replaced.
so how much do you guys use yours and where do you live? and it's about half a daily driver but that isnt often.
mines a ragtop and I love the top down and I got a garage for it this year so I will probubly leave the top down most of the time so I doubt I;ll use it more than I did.
just wondering how many of you all use your air much

I don't have an AC, live in NE Wyoming and didn't really have a need for one. Have a 98 which is my DD. Hard half doors with sliders worked just fine. On day trips with my wife, just pop the uppers off and enjoy! Took the Jeep on a 200+ mile trip on the hottest day last summer, took the upper off, placed them in the back and took off. Little warm, but beat doing work around the place. (With door or tops off, really limits the conversation required with the wife!)

Bought mine to drive to OBX in August. Since the wife was going, no AC was not an option. Test drove a black hard top and nearly suffocated in MD. Those two windows aren't really big enough to move a lot of air. But it's mainly the humidity :-)

I live in Georgia and use mine all through the summer months. If the top is down (which it usually is) the cold air feels sooooo good when the sun is cooking you in traffic.

In Romania it gets quite hot in the summer so I use the A/C almost everyday.

Convert it to an OBA system, you probably will use an On board compressor alot more often.

Never use it, if it's hot enough to use A/C then the top will be down so the A/C is pointless for me.

I use mine almost every day, even when I have the top off. I wouldn't even consider not having it.
