Airbag Experts... Please Help

I have a 1997 Jeep Wrangler that was wrecked and airbags deployed. Replaced the clockspring/aibag in steering wheel. I know I need to replace the Airbag Control Module, but do I need to replace the passenger side airbag. I need to have the airbag light to operate properly to pass GA rebuilt title inspection. Thanks

Hmmm... not going to be many air bag experts. What's the part number on your air bag module? I bet I have one you could try out and see what happens.

Did your passenger side air bag deploy? I would imagine the air bag module needs to see a complete circuit or it trips the light. If the passenger air bag shows a fault I bet it would trigger the light. So if it deployed you should probably replace it.

Just guessing here but knowing a little bit about Jeep wiring I'd say there is a great chance that if the air bag was deployed then it won't complete the circuit and trip the light.

Congrats.... now you get to pull the entire dash to replace it.

You can PM me if you'd like about replacing the airbag. I pulled my entire dash apart a few weeks ago. Took 2 days but by golly I know how to do it now haha!
