Airbag help

How do I disable my air bag warning light and chime? I don't have any intention of replacing the clockspring and Im tired of listening to it. Does anyone know how to do it?

01 TJ SE 2.5 5spd.

Thanks

Won't that make the airbags fire?

If you are removing power to them how will they fire? They don't go off when the battery is disconnected.

Nope. That's how you disarm them in order to remove them

Does anyone know how to pull the light bulb out? I tried it once but the gauge cluster had a ton of computer parts in the way but I was afraid to try to pull it out because I did not want to crack the board. Does anyone have any suggestions as to handle that?

The bulbs just rotate 1/4 turn then pull out. I just pulled mine few weeks ago. If you look closely they are labeled.

the problem is that I can't even see the light. It looks like a big computer motherboard in the way and I'm nervous about cracking it or damaging it. Any thoughts?

It's better just to fix the problem and have functional airbags.
