Airbag Light on, Horn not working

This has been going on for quite some time now. The airbag light is illuminated, my horn doesnt not work, and ive noticed that when i put pressure on the steering as if i were pushing the horn, it feels like nothing is there. Last time i posted about this i didnt get much help, so im really open for any suggestions...

Did you check relays and fuses...it's the only thing I can think of. Good luck.

Usually a non-functioning horn and an airbag light are caused by a faulty clock spring.

And it's not really a clockspring, it's just a coiled up (looks kinda like a clockspring) wiring harness that allows the steering wheel to rotate while providing thru-connections for things like the air bag, horn, cruise controls, etc. that reside inside the steering wheel. I agree with the others that your problem is most likely caused by a bad clockspring.

Let me know if you find a good deal on one. I have the same problems as you do and I checked my clockspring. Broken and installed upside down by the previous owner I guess. Just hard to find one under $200 around here with Cruise Control.

I know this is an old one, but did you ever figure out your problem? I'm having the same issues, and no one knows what I'm talking about. Your first post described it best.
