alarm blinkers tap in

Hey all i just received my 2way alarm. I'm wondering where should i connect the wires for the blinkers? For those who arent familiar.. its a 12V output from the alarm.. where and which wire should i tap into so i can make the blinkers work when 12V is applied to it?

Thanks

Thanks Hardy quite a lot of stuff there.. all i found was the switch though which i'm not planing on breaking into I gues i gotta follow the wires.. any other feedback is welcome as well

I'm a bit confused whats happening inside the switch is self.. all i want to do is use a relay to make it seem like i turned on the hazard flashers

If I read the diagram right I believe you are gona look for a pink wire that comes out of the steering coloum. You would need to test to make sure though

the alarm brain has a wire dedicated to run the flashers, it is pulsed to turn on and off automaticly, you can sometimes set it to stay on steady. the wire you need is Black with a yellow stripe, its located at the switch so you'll need to get behind the dash to get it. You can sometimes find the wire in the bundle that runs to the back on the drivers side kick panel. Make sure you use a test light or a mulit meter to test the wire before you tap it in. good luck

Thanks Tiburon ill see what i can do... For now i think ill install the alarm just so it screams when sensing shocks and later on i will go behind the dash.. It just started snowing here and its less than 30 F at this very moment i'm not planing to open everything up and have to do it again later for a better job...

No prob, I've been installing alarms for about 3 years now so if you have any more questions just hit me up. I installed door locks in my doors and just need an alarm to hook em up. I'm waiting to get a cheap Viper 2 way and microwave sensor before I install any more.
