Ambient Air Temp Sensor

Can someone take a picture of the location of the ambient air temp sensor on a 2005 Wrangler? I'm just about finished with my 05 and need to get it inspected but i cant find where the sensor goes?
Thanks for the help.

What does inspection have to do with the air temp sensor? The ambient temp sensor is for the mirrior.

The sensor causes cel p0073 when it's not plugged in, and i can't pass the inspection/emission test with a cel on. I have a sensor but just dont know where it goes?

Do you know if it goes on the pasenger or drivers side? The sensor wasn't in my Jeep when i bought it and there are two identical unused plugs in the harness that fit the sensor, one on the drivers side and one on the passenger side.
Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the diagram. Do you know if the sensor for the mirror is different from the sensor the ecm uses? The reason I ask is because if i plug the sensor in the location in that diagram my check engine light can't be erased, but if i plug it in to the harness on the passenger side the I can erase the cel and it stays off.
I would have never thought this is what would be giving me so much trouble in this whole process.

My sensor (2003) is behind the second slot in the grill on the Driver's side. I don't have air conditioning, that may need a second sensor (to have the air conditioning come on automtically when very hot ambient conditions exist).
The sersor for the mirror and the mirror itself have to be compatible. What's the model # on your mirror? On mine it's on the back and very hard to read. The mirror can be easily removed, one set screw plus the harness unplugs at the mirror.
This Post may help re the Model # http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/cant...tml#post743345
