I've recently purchased a 97 TJ, the steering wheel is turned about 90 degrees, Tie rods are straight and I've adjusted the drag link both directions as far as it would go, when I came back to center the steering wheel is upside down….
Any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated !

Turn your wheels so that the steering wheel is straight, then snap a couple of pictures from straight in front of your jeep toward the pitman arm and post them up.

If I understand what you're saying, you run out of adjustment before the wheel is straight, right?

Here's a write up of how to set toe-in and straighten the steering wheel in case it's an issue with the way it's being done.

You definitely don't want a dropped pitman arm. It's hard to tell the position of the pitman arm in the pics (the photo wasn't taken from straight on), but it looks like there's plenty of adjustment in the drag link. Make sure your toe-in is set properly, then follow the steering wheel centering info I gave you in the attachment.

If the steering wheel is straight, the pitman arm should be pointed about like this picture in relation to the frame.
