annoying engine miss

Our 99 TJ 4 cly 5 speed has a miss in it that I can't seem to pin point. It had it when we bought it so I tuned it up with new plugs, wires, cap, and rotor plus all the normal stuff and then some. Miss is still there. I have paid close attention to it and while I originally thought it was ignition related because it seemed like it was only when placed under a load now it seems to me that is more throttle position related as there is one spot that it seems to miss every time if you advance the throttle in the right way to aggravate it. So now of course I advance the throttle that way every time and the jeep misses there every time and it is driving me crazy. It usually only misses out once then runs fine as it is usually when advancing the throttle. Could the TPS have a bad spot in it that goes flat when you advance the throttle? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yes its possible the TPS is bad...that was going to be my guess along with the IAC

I had this for a while and then changed both sensors out when i did the 4.0 TB on mine and it hasnt happened since.
