Annoying turn signal...

I'm wondering if there's an easy, or more importantly inexpensive fix for this...

When I use my left turn signal, it goes too far, in the sense that it flashes for a second, but when i press it all the way, it turns off again. So when I turn left, I have to kind of hold the signal stick part way down. Also, when I'm not touching it, the signal often lights up, steady, not blinking, as though I was just slightly depressing the stick. The right signal is fine.

So it's like the switch's neutral position is too far to the left. Is there a way to recalibrate it without buying a new switch?

Thanks!!!!
