Exclamation anti sway bar???

the front bumper i bought is most likely not gonna fit with the anti sway bar setup i have. so my question is, if i took the anti sway bar off is there any kind of problems i would run into? ive drove around town with it disconnected and everything seemed ok but im more concerned about driving it on the highway with out the anti sway bar hooked up.

I drove mine for almost a year with the front not on. That being said, it will drive way different, Jello is the best way to describe it. Tight turns it will lean more.. and if you have to make quick turn at high speed, say to avoid a car or junk in the road.. you better be ready. Other than that I didn't have any issues.

The biggest danger will be if you have to make a sudden panic move, like dodging a car that has stopped in front of you. You'll just experience more body roll, or suspension dive, and increase the chance of getting loose. Lift and tires will increase the likelyness of this. But its not like Jeeps are exactly slot-cars to begin with, so you've probably already learned to drive with a little more awareness of other drivers, anyway. I drove a 4 in lift solid axle 4runner for years w/out a swaybar, plenty of highway speeds (or as close as I could get), with no problems, but I dont remember being put in a panic situation. Just stay alert, and be aware of the (potential) danger.

They are on for safety reasons if you can handle your jeep good and no how to drive it's not a big problem only thing I would worry is the highway I leave mine off all the time but I have leaf springs and don't use any high ways mostly town and 55 mph roads also I'm sure you will get the answers from others soon

After you mount the bumper you might be able to hook the sway bar up some how hard to help with no picture

i just brought the bumper out and its gonna be close. if it doesnt fit with the sway bar on ill take it off and if im not comfortable with how it handles on the highway ill figure out a way to hook it back up. i think its gonna fit but we'll see in a min.

The new bumper makes the whole world seem brighter.

That looks good, like the black grille, too.

thanks. thats pretty cool how the pictures turned out like that. i put a plastic cover on the grille to protect it from rock chips and then painted it flat black to match the headlight bezels.
